Others cite the Sweet Potato Tamale and Green Chile Cheeseburger among their favorites. Zagat gives the food a 4.4 rating.

Carlito’s Burritos

This cozy, inexpensive joint is on the East Side in Henderson. Known for their red chile and green chile sauces, they serve breakfast all day. Carlito’s popular New Mexican dishes include Navajo Tacos, Smothered Fries, and Stuffed Sopapillas. If you aren’t up to the drive, you can choose the delivery option via Postmates.

Nacho Daddy

Another place that offers delicious Tex-Mex is Nacho Daddy. With three locations in the Las Vegas area, you will find all-day breakfast selections, a full vegan menu, and more. The faves are Supreme Tostada Nachos, Street Tacos, and the Vegan Chick’n Nachos. Locally owned and operated, Nacho Daddy is famous for its Scorpion Shot, which contains a pickled scorpion.

Whether a hole-in-the-wall or a pricey dining establishment, these Vegas restaurants provide some of the best Tex-Mex in the country. Don’t forget to order a specialty margarita or a signature Tequila cocktail to wash it all down.
