Sin City is one of the top places in the world for adults to do all the things they can’t do under prying eyes at home. Gambling, drinking, and other mayhem are commonplace, but that doesn’t mean that’s all there is to do. If you have children and want to experience Las Vegas, check out some of these wholesome family activities.
Adventure Dome is an amusement park inside the Circus Circus Casino. It features rides for kids of all ages, although many do have a height requirement. One day passes for adults are $31.95, and for children between 33 and 47 inches, it’s $17.95. Kids under 33 inches are free.
Shark Reef Aquarium
Located in Mandalay Bay, the Shark Reef Aquarium houses many species of shark, fish, ray, sea turtle, and piranha. The aquarium features an underwater tunnel that allows visitors to see marine life from beneath. Tickets start at just $20 during non-peak times.
The Wildlife Habitat
This outdoor animal habitat is on the grounds of the Flamingo Hotel and features wildlife such as flamingos, turtles, koi, and other animals. The habitat also includes ponds, majestic fountains, and beautiful waterfalls. Each day there are also two live feedings. The best part of this particular attraction is that it’s totally free, which is something you don’t see in Las Vegas very often. The park is open from 8 a.m. to sunset daily.
