The Best Spots for Tacos in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is known around the world for its world-class entertainment, exciting gaming, and delicious food. When the craving strikes for tacos, check out these spots in Sin City.
El Dorado Cantina
This restaurant is off the Strip, on Sammy Davis Jr. Drive, and according to online reviews it serves some of the best tacos in the state. The menu includes sustainably raised beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, and fish, all served on top of handmade tortillas and topped with fresh, tasty extras. If you follow a special diet, you’ll appreciate the menu notes that indicate which options are vegan, vegetarian, and/or gluten-free. The street tacos al pastor are especially good, served with marinated pork, pineapple, cilantro, onion, and lime.
Cabo Wabo
Cabo Wabo is a famous cantina in Vegas located in the Miracle Miles Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The short rib beef barbacoa tacos are a house favorite, with corn tortillas topped with salsa, avocado, cilantro, and onion, served with refried beans and rice. The carne asada tacos are also flavorful, and the menu includes some traditional American fare as well. Make sure to sample some of the tequila, a house specialty.
China Poblano
The name of this restaurant might not sound like a great taco joint, but this Chinese-Mexican fusion eatery offers a unique spin on tacos. The Silencio Tacos feature duck tongue and fresh lychee, while the Viva China Tacos include crispy beef and Kumamoto oysters. If you’re not up for the adventure, stick to the refried bean tacos with spicy tomato habanero salsa.
