3 Things You MUST Eat in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a true feast for the senses, and that includes the most obvious sense that comes up when you see the word “feast.” Here are the must-visit meals of Vegas:
Oxtail Soup
The Market Street Cafe of California Hotel and Casino caters especially to Hawaiians, but anyone can try their perfected version of beef stew. The ingredients may be ordinary, but the flavors you’ll experience from eating oxtail soup is unforgettable. It’s only available from 11 pm to 9 am, however, making it a must-have for the midnight munchies.
A Burger from the Burger Bar
It’s amazing what you can do with a bun and some ground meat, and the Burger Bar of Mandalay Bay puts the choice in your hands. Not only can you choose from dozens of toppings, the Burger Bar offers four types of beef, five alternate animal meats including chicken and salmon, and a vegan veggie burger option which was personally designed by the restaurant’s master chef.
Khao Soi
The best restaurants aren’t all on the Strip, and Lotus of Siam is a perfect example. Any of the over 100 menu options can serve as an excellent meal, but the khao soi should be your first experience: the blend of Thai coconut curry with egg noodles and pickled vegetables is hard to beat. Be ready for some significant heat, however.
People visit Las Vegas to enjoy themselves, and no Vegas trip is complete without visiting one of the restaurants that serve food you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
