3 Gluttonous Las Vegas Food Challenges
Las Vegas, the place for gluttony in all things, is home to some of the most intense food challenges out there. If you fancy yourself a competitive eater, you have to try your hand at these three food challenges.
Giant Burgers
The name of The Pub at Monte Carlo’s food challenge is pretty self-explanatory: eat an 8-pound burger in 45 minutes or less, and you’ll get your meal for free and win a T-shirt. But a simple name doesn’t equal a simple feat — this burger not only comes with huge portions of meat, bun, and toppings, but you’ll also have to wash it down with two pints of beer or root beer.
Flaming Feasts
Most food challenges are about consuming absurdly large portions, but Mint Indian Bistro takes a different approach with its Inferno Curry Challenge. Anyone who manages to polish off the Inferno Curry — seasoned with the hottest chiles in the world — will be rewarded with a $50 gift card and a spot on the Wall of Flame. This challenge isn’t for the faint of heart!
Sky-High Sweets
After you’ve set your mouth aflame with the Inferno Curry, head over to Serendipity 3 at Caesar’s Palace, and cool off with their Peanut Butter & Jelly Glazed Donut Ice Cream Sundae Challenge. If you think the name is a mouthful, wait until you see the tower of sweets you’ll have to consume in under 10 minutes! Featuring three pints of ice cream, a super-sized glazed donut, three sauces, whipped cream, and Oreo kisses, this dish will have your sweet tooth waving the white flag in surrender.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but you may have some trouble keeping these food challenges in your stomach!
