3 April Events You Don't Want to Miss in Vegas

4996770948_6b27c103bb_bIt seems like there is always something going on in Las Vegas. Sin City is especially fun in April, because there are a variety of events geared toward spring break travelers, along with other live entertainment.

Concerts

The hotels along the Strip will host various concerts in April. You can catch Hans Zimmer on April 21 or Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr, & Jackie Lee on April 28 at the Monte Carlo. The MGM Grand has Green Day & Against Me coming on April 7. Elton John is performing concerts April 25-29, while Celine Dion will headline through April 22 at Caesar’s Palace.

Sports

Baseball season starts in Las Vegas in early April and runs through early September. The Las Vegas 51s play at Cashman Field, and you can get tickets for about $10-$25.

Downtown Food Tour

If gambling and shows aren’t really your cup of tea, check out the Downtown Las Vegas Foodie Tour. The tours run Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. It typically starts near Third and Fremont streets, although your exact location will be given to you when you buy your tickets. Tickets are $69 for adults and $49 for kids and include enough food for lunch. Some of the tasting locations include The Donut Bar, JinJu Chocolates, Rachel’s Kitchen Downtown at the Ogden, Freedom Beat, and Perch.

These fun events taking place in April offer a unique experience for Las Vegas locals or visitors. Try something different this month and have fun with your friends or family.
